Info
On March 22, 2027, Death From Above 1979 bring their Private Lives Tour ’27 to Bo’s Bar & Stage in Red Deer. Still operating as a lean duo, bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer-vocalist Sebastien Grainger turn the classic rock setup into something rawer and more physical: a distorted bass that fills the whole spectrum, drums pushed right to the front, and vocals that cut through with urgency.
The show pulls from the band’s full arc, from the early, punchy noise-rock and dance-punk snap that made You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine a staple, to the later records where they’ve stretched into harder rock edges and sharper pop instincts without losing that minimalist impact. Expect tight, rhythm-first songs built to hit fast, lock into grooves, then blow them up again—exactly the kind of set that turns a room into a moving mass.
