On March 2, 2027, Thundermother will come with the Mothers Of Thunder Tour to Dynamo Werk 21 in Zurich. The Swedes stand for hard rock without detours: dry riffs, a splash of boogie and that 70s/80s vibe that sounds more like a sweaty rehearsal room than high gloss. Led by guitarist Filippa Nässil, the band has continually reinvented itself despite lineup changes; in the current lineup angular guitars meet a frontal voice and short, direct hooks. Live, it works like a set that pushes forward and doesn't need long introductions.
As support, Bonafide will be along, also from Sweden and on European stages for years. Their sound sits between Classic Rock and Blues-Rock, with straightforward refrains and the energy of a band used to touring. Since their restart as a power trio, everything is even more compact: song, riff, pressure. An evening in Zurich clearly aimed at fans of classic hard rock.
