Eduardo de la Calle, a DJ and producer who, over a 25-year production career and under a wide variety of aliases, has released on numerous labels and collaborated with many of today’s top DJs, such as Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Carl Craig, Luciano, DJ Hell, Tiga, and Oxia, to name a few.
Defining Eduardo’s sound with precision is difficult. Capable of composing lush, languid soundscapes, complex IDM, or sci-fi jazz, De la Calle has released 250 vinyl releases and has performed in more than 60 countries over the past two decades.
He is the founder of his new brand project, the Telemaco Xavier Jazz Quintet, and oversees the mixing, development, and evolution of the ensemble. In this live-oriented musical group designed for stages and live formats, Eduardo handles the sonic aesthetic and the studio mixes, bringing the quintet a futuristic yet unorthodox vision of jazz and electronic music; the quintet’s first studio album is finished and will be released soon.
