On May 16, 2027 at the Elysée Montmartre, Nevermore returns to write a new chapter in Paris. Born in Seattle in the early 1990s in the wake of Sanctuary, the band built its identity at the crossroads of heavy, thrash, power and progressive metal, with a taste for taut riffs, sharp breaks and a darkness that clings to the skin. From Nevermore to This Godless Endeavor, via Dead Heart in a Dead World, the repertoire remains a compact bloc, tailored for the live stage. Relaunched around guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams, the project returns with a refreshed lineup and a desire to put the spark back at the heart of the show.
Opening the bill, Rivers of Nihil will set the scene with their technical and progressive death metal, able to alternate surgical precision with more atmospheric breaths, in the spirit of Where Owls Know My Name or The Work.
URNE will round out the bill with its London-flavoured blend of sludge, hardcore and thrash: massive riffs, rising tension and formats that stretch without losing impact, between Serpent & Spirit and A Feast on Sorrow.
