Info
On Friday, December 4, 2026, in Parthenay, Neg’ Marrons celebrate three decades of French rap-reggae. Jacky Brown and Ben-J, a duo born in the spirit of Secteur Ä, bring back this blend that has become their signature: rap flows, sung refrains, dancehall accents and Caribbean influences, with lyrics that alternate neighborhood chronicles and a more festive energy. On stage, the aim isn’t to stage a museum of the 90s, but to put titles that have stood the test of time back in circulation, from Rue Case Nègres to Le Bilan, while keeping that sense of togetherness and that knack for getting the crowd on their feet.
Opening, Supa Mana comes to lay down her mastery of the sound system. DJ, producer and also on the mic, she moves between rub-a-dub, digital reggae and dub, with heavy bass and dry rhythms that connect the classics to more contemporary textures. A meeting of heritage and today’s versions, conceived to move you as much as to make you feel the vibration.
