VÆB is the Icelandic duo from Kópavogur, comprising brothers Hálfdán Helgi and Matthías Davíð Matthíasson, who in a few years have carved out their own space in Nordic pop. They began in 2022 with short, punchy tracks that first gained traction online, and since then have honed a formula in which electronic pop meets light hip hop, tight synth textures, and choruses that land quickly and directly.
After Væb tech and a string of singles and collaborations, they cemented themselves with the EP Væbauer, and many began to take real notice of them through Söngvakeppnin and Eurovision: first as finalists with Bíómynd, then as Iceland's representatives in 2025 with Róa. When they land at Quarters in Brighton on 24 September 2026, it's with the same forward-driving energy and a set that draws on their new release chapter around the album Væbout.
