Info
On October 3, 2026 at The LCR in Norwich, The Lemonheads return with that signature mix of punk kick and melodic glow, still guided by Evan Dando’s songwriting. Born in late-80s Boston and shaped by the college-rock scene, the band grew into a more direct, tuneful alternative rock where chiming guitars, power-pop hooks and a slightly rough edge sit side by side. Expect a set that moves between punchy, upbeat classics and more acoustic-leaning moments, with the kind of loose, lived-in energy that made their 90s run so distinctive.
Opening the night, Willy Mason brings his stripped-back folk-rock: a deep voice, spare guitar lines, and lyrics that hit straight without drama. Raised on Martha’s Vineyard and active since the early 2000s, he’s built a catalog that drifts between blues and country shades while staying grounded in simple, direct songwriting. A warm-up that sets the room just right before The Lemonheads plug in.
