Info
On December 1, 2026, Desire arrives at L’Ampérage in Grenoble with Johnny Jewel for an evening that moves between synth-pop, Italo-disco, and new wave. Born in Montreal and associated with the Italians Do It Better label, the project centers on the voice of Megan Louise, laid over Jewel’s sculpted, nocturnal productions: retro synths, slow-to-mid tempo rhythms, melancholic melodies, and catchy refrains. On stage, this 80s aesthetic is at once cold and romantic, straddling pared-down electronic pop and restrained tension. The set traverses the duo’s milestones, from tracks that established their signature to pieces from the recent albums Escape (2022) and Games People Play (2025), not forgetting the cinematic aura surrounding their repertoire, including the indispensable \"Under Your Spell\".
