Info
On March 10, 2027, HENGE lands at The 1865 in Southampton with the kind of live set that blurs gig, ritual and sci‑fi performance. Born in Manchester in 2015, the quartet mixes psychedelic and space rock with electro and avant-pop, a crossbreed they call “cosmic dross”. Expect tight synth lines, a bass that leads from the front, motorik drums, and guitars with sharp, acidic edges, moving between punchy songs, repetitive trance and more experimental detours.
On stage, HENGE shows up as its own cast of characters (Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom), stretching their strange universe far beyond the music. Their records trace that evolution from Cosmic Dross and Attention Earth! through ExoKosm, Alpha Test 4 and Journey to Voltus B, and the live show pulls from that expanding catalogue with the urgency of a band built on the alternative circuit and constant touring.
