Info
Son Lux comes to TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on October 26, 2026 with the idiosyncratic blend that the Ryan Lott project has grown into—a trio that continues to push boundaries. Together with guitarist Rafiq Bhatia and drummer Ian Chang, he constructs songs that feel both fragile and tight: intimate vocals against angular rhythms, electronic textures clashing with orchestral outbursts, tension that suddenly bursts into silence.
Live, you hear how their work evolved from early records such as At War with Walls & Mazes and Lanterns to the band's sound on Bones, Brighter Wounds, and the Tomorrows trilogy. That same drive to let songwriting and contemporary composition rub against each other is also present in their film work, from The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby to the Oscar-nominated soundtrack for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Expect a set that crackles with detail, but always stays rooted in the song.
