Overmono, the Welsh brothers Tom and Ed Russell (also known from Truss and Tessela), bring their Pure Devotion – World Tour to the Gashouder in Amsterdam on 11 November 2026. Do not expect neatly delineated genres, but a set that folds techno, breakbeat, UK garage and bass music into one, with the characteristic fragmented rhythms and restless percussion with which they have built their name.
Since the Arla I-III EPs on XL Recordings and later tracks such as Everything U Need and Cash Romantic, Overmono has enjoyed playing with heavy basslines and sampled vocals that linger, somewhere between raw club energy and detail-rich listening. With Good Lies (2023) they push that sound toward more song-oriented moments, without losing the drive. Live or as a DJ set: this is electronic music that thinks like a soundsystem, but moves like a rave.
