Info
On February 21, 2027, Valley bring their “Do You Need To Be Entertained? The Tour” to The Palace Theatre in Calgary, with the kind of indie-pop set that’s built for singing along without slipping into big gestures. The Toronto quartet—Rob Laska, Mickey Brandolino, Alex Dimauro and Karah James—leans into a bright, melodic sound where chiming guitars and discreet synths sit on top of supple, clean rhythms.
On stage, the band’s identity comes through in the shared lead vocals between Laska and James, tight harmonies, and choruses that land fast and stay in your head. Their songs move through friendship, the messy first years of adulthood, and the not-so-clear lines of modern relationships, keeping things direct and relatable. Expect a show that balances indie texture with pop immediacy, shaped by years of honing their songwriting across releases like Car Test and Maybe, and sharpened by steady touring.
