Valley will come to Cologne on May 4, 2027, performing at Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld as part of their 'Do You Need To Be Entertained?' tour. The Toronto quartet fuses indie pop with a pop-rock aesthetic that nods to the 2000s without getting stuck in them: bright guitars, subtly dosed synths, and a rhythm that pushes rather than drags. Live, the emphasis is on the interplay of the voices—Rob Laska and Karah James share the vocals, complemented by refined vocal arrangements that make the songs feel both light and precise. Lyrically, their tracks orbit around friendship, the stumble into adulthood, and the hazy zones of relationships that are never entirely clear. After releases such as the early EP Car Test and the album Maybe, Valley has sharpened this accessible, melodic core even further—and brings it to Cologne as a concert that clearly foregrounds hooks and band dynamics.
