On March 16, 2027, at Juliobona in Lillebonne, Thomas Fersen will take the stage to present his tour 'Comme on quitte un Imperméable.' Since Le bal des oiseaux, unveiled in the early 1990s, he has cultivated a distinctive kind of song: narratives in chiaroscuro, slightly offbeat characters, a poetry that slips into everyday life without overdoing it. With a guitar in hand, he unfolds his art of storytelling with precise writing and melodies that stick, somewhere between French chanson and rough-edged folk. He was crowned early on with a Victoire de la Musique, and over the years Fersen has built a dense repertoire, tailored for live performance, which he has taken on the road across Europe as well as Canada. This Lillebonne date promises an intimate and narrative concert, where people come as much for the songs as for the way of telling them.
