Kasbah présente « Dardar » All Night Long

Kasbah presents DarDar (live) on Friday, October 9 at 10:30 PM at Makeda in Marseille. Dar, in Arabic (دار), means 'house,' 'home,' or a place to live. For this evening, Kasbah transforms the dancefloor into a space for creation around house music. During an all-night set, he will be joined by two musicians from traditional Arab world music, invited to improvise freely throughout the set. A meeting of house music, traditional music, and improvisation, where each musician becomes an integral part of the hearth.

Nadir (KasbaH)
Kasbah is a DJ and producer, co-founder of the Musique de Fête label with Nowadays Records. With extensive clubbing experience, both as a DJ and as an organizer, he offers a style ranging from house to techno. His sets are deep, organic, percussive, and hypnotic, while weaving in his North African roots and exploring textures and inspirations from around the world.

Wadee
Wadee Alkhouri was born in Damascus in 1992. A Syrian artist, he blends rap, slam, and dance in a powerful and holistic artistic approach. He began as a dancer with the Damascus Ballet, then as a writer, and then as a composer; Wadee's distinctiveness rests on his many collaborations. Over time, his flagship project, which fuses voice and movement, takes shape. Since arriving in France in 2022, his artistic universe has taken on a new dimension. He creates a fusion between rap, traditional Middle Eastern music, and dabke. His style emerges, deftly blending heritage and modernity. On stage, Wadee is a complete experience, where words, rhythm, and the body intertwine to tell a human story—honest in its flaws, vibrant.

Amine
Amine, a versatile percussionist and DJ based in Marseille, has over 25 years of experience on national and international stages. His passion for percussion, notably the darbuka, blends with eclectic DJ sets, ranging from Afro house to world music. A freelance performing artist, he collaborates with various festivals, cultural events, and bespoke artistic projects.
