Godspeed You! Black Emperor is returning to Quebec City for the first time in more than ten years, on February 21, 2027, at Théâtre Capitole. A major figure in independent music, the Montreal collective is renowned for its long, intense instrumental compositions, at the crossroads of chamber rock, experimentation, and politically engaged music.
Its live performances, notably accompanied by 16 mm analog projections, are an integral part of its universe. Rarely seen on the festival circuit, Godspeed You! Black Emperor has chosen Le Phoque OFF for this concert, presented as the epilogue to its 2027 edition.
