Info
Vénus Club returns to Rex Club with its crew for a second takeover on Saturday, September 26, with Elkka.
A queer British-born producer and DJ, Elkka offers a musical universe guided by a female gaze, centered on freedom and queer sensuality. She creates electronic music that is at once intoxicating and cavernous, inspired by Chicago house and disco, leftfield techno, and UK bass. In her sets, heavy, repetitive rhythms clash and then fuse with shimmering, syrupy vocals to create a club energy that is distinctly pronounced.
To accompany Elkka's old-school house groove, the members of the Vénus Club roster will take turns: Bouncy House, prog trance, breaks, UK garage and acid sounds, with new B2B sets:
- Aïphra x Sainte Exp
- Belatrix x Vickies
- Clo x La Chikh
