Takuya Nakamura arrives in Paris on Thursday, October 22, 2026, to launch a new Basses Fréquences Live session. A trumpeter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, he has spent more than thirty years at the boundary between contemporary jazz and electronic music, with a taste for rhythm and improvisation that makes a set lift off minute after minute. On stage, his trumpet rubs up against machines, synthesizers and bass lines, and everything comes together live: club grooves, more ambient textures, organic sparks, and sequences that fork off without warning. Alongside him, Melanin extends the evening with a hybrid DJ set, conceived to maintain the link between selection, manipulation and live energy. A gathering where people come as much to listen as to be swept away by music in motion, between the warmth of jazz and the pulsations of electronic music.
