The Minds Of 99 take the stage at Parken in Copenhagen on June 19, 2027 with a concert that brings together the band's distinctive blend of post-punk, new wave, and alternative pop in a large-scale production. The Copenhagen quintet writes and sings in Danish, and live it’s all about the collective drive: Niels Brandt’s insistent vocal at the front, Asger Wissing’s distinctive bass, and Louis Clausen’s drums, which maintain a constant push, while Anders Folke Larsen’s synths and piano push the sound into more electronic textures. The music ranges from the early, angular energy to the more melodic and open songs from the later releases, where guitar, synth textures, and choruses are allowed to fill out. The result is an evening in which rhythm and community are the sustaining forces, and where the band's direct lyrics and their central themes can hit even harder in a stadium setting.
