Blues Pills come at the same roots from another angle, mixing blues rock with soul, hard rock and a touch of psychedelia. With Elin Larsson’s vocal presence at the center and a band sound that shifts between heavy crunch and looser, melodic moments, they’ve kept evolving from their 2014 debut through albums like Lady in Gold, Holy Moly! and Birthday.
