On October 2, 2027, Lisa LeBlanc brings her Acadian fire to The Mod Club in Toronto for a show that moves fast and hits close to home. Coming out of New Brunswick’s francophone scene, she’s built her own lane where French, English and chiac bounce around the same songs, with that straight-to-the-point way of telling stories that feels like real life, not a concept.
Live, her roots in raw folk-rock are never far: sharp guitar lines, banjo-driven momentum, and a delivery that doesn’t overthink things. But she’s also the kind of artist who keeps shifting the frame, stretching from the early “trash-folk” grit of her 2010s breakout into rougher rock energy, then flipping the script with the “Chiac Disco” turn that brought dance rhythms and pop melody into the mix. Expect a set that can swing from sweaty and loud to bright and danceable, without losing the bite in the writing.
