CULT OF LUNA
After 25 years expanding the frontiers of post-metal, Cult of Luna arrives in Paris on March 3, 2027 at Le Trianon with a shadow in their guts and formats that take time to settle in. Led by their tenth album In the Shadow of Your Shadow, the Swedish band digs into a dense sonic material where post-metal, sludge, hardcore and textures leaning toward folk or art-rock rub against one another without aiming for repetition. At the core are heavy themes such as loss, mourning, and mortality, between sequences of pure crushing and more suspended passages. On stage, you can expect the dynamic play that is their strength: a slow build, saturation that spreads, and then brutal shifts that give way to breaths.
BRUIT
Opening, the Toulouse-based quartet BRUIT lays down its instrumental post-rock on a thread stretched between contemplation and frontal impact. Since Monolith and its sweeping, moving pieces, the band refines an expansive, immersive sound, nourished by new textures and a writing that favors long tensions and controlled eruptions.
YOUTH CODE
With Youth Code, EBM shifts into punk and industrial mode. The Los Angeles duo, led by Sara Taylor and Ryan George, brings massive basslines, martial rhythms and sharp, piercing vocals, in the vein of the great 90s era, between electronic coldness and organic brutality.
