Norwegian indie quartet Veps have since the tender age of 17 garnered critical acclaim both internationally and at home for their wise beyond their years songwriting.

Having known each other ever since elementary school, Helena, Laura, June and Maja started the band at 14. And a mere three years later, they were signed to US label Kanine Records and played showcase festivals such as The Great Escape, By:Larm, Reeperbahn and many more.

Their brilliant debut EP Open The Door paved the way for their equally great first album Oslo Park (produced by Matias Tellez). Many of the singles received heavy support from Spotify, and both UK Radio (BBC 6, Amazing Radio) and their Norwegian counterparts NRK P3 and P13 playlisted several of the tunes.

Veps have also played major festivals in Norway, such as Øyafestivalen (Norway’s Glastonbury), and in 2022 the band undertook their first ever headlining club tour of the UK.

Their sophomore album effort «Dedicated To» also received international and domestic praise, with indie gems such as «Greetings From Peru» and «Thanks To You» making waves on both sides of the Atlantic.

Still only in their 23rd year on planet Earth, the band have been recording their third album with Marcus Forsgren in their hometown of Oslo. They’ve also signed to Swedish cult label PNKSLM, entering a new phase of their already illustrious career.

And as the steady stream of singles that have been released in the past months testifies, all the classic Veps elements are there yet again. Soaring melodies, smart lyrics, brilliant vocals and musical interplay that’s been honed by the group since their early teens.

Make no mistake about it. Veps are back with another sweet sting of an album. And if the old chestnut 'third time’s the charm' actually does apply, one can only dream of how far this one will reach.
