On February 14, 2027, in Bristol, Basement bring their UK rock lineage back to the stage with that mix of emo tension, grunge weight and melodic hardcore drive that’s defined them since the late 2000s. Expect songs built on the push and pull between clean, sing-along melodies and thick, buzzing guitars, with sharp tempo shifts that keep everything on edge rather than polished. From the early urgency of Songs About the Weather and I Wish I Could Stay Here through the more contrasted dynamics of Colourmeinkindness, their writing has always leaned into emotional friction and straight-to-the-point vocals.
Their later run widened the frame without losing the live-band bite: Further Sky opened things up, Promise Everything pushed their reach further, and Beside Myself leaned into more structured, melodic shapes while staying rooted in the energy of small-room rock. With Fleshwater and Béton Armé on the bill, it’s set up for a night that moves fast, hits hard, and still leaves room for the hooks.
