Eivør comes to Aarhus on February 26, 2027, and it will be an evening with a voice and songwriting that continually moves between the raw and the delicate. She has roots in Syðrugøta on the Faroe Islands, and since the late 1990s she has carved out her own space at the crossroads of Nordic folk, pop, jazz, rock, and discreet electronic textures.
In concert you can expect traditional melodies and contemporary expression to sit side by side: songs that can feel like old stories, but with modern beats and atmospheric soundscapes. With a catalog spanning from the early releases in the 2000s to newer records such as Segl and Enn, the set can range from intimate to the more expansive.
The concert takes place at TRAIN in Aarhus, and Eivør sings in Faroese, English and Icelandic, so you get the full palette, no matter where in her universe you step in.
