On February 12, 2027, at Le Rotz in Val d’Anast, Gauvain Sers comes to present 'Boulevard of Childhood', a new chapter faithful to his style: stories that spring from lived experience to touch the collective. Between Paris and the Creuse, he draws a direct line between the intimate and the political, between childhood memories and what the world imposes when one grows up.
A lyric-driven singer in the French tradition, Sers has made himself known with tales of daily life and portraits on a human scale, between discreet humor and melancholy. In the continuity of his songs marked by rural France, the forgotten and the lives that are not heard enough, this concert promises songs that tell of trajectories, places, loved ones, and this recurring question: what space do we forge for ourselves, and at what price.
