On November 1, 2026, Gökhan Türkmen will perform live at Maassilo in Rotterdam. The singer, guitarist, and producer from Istanbul broke through in the mid-2000s when his version of Büyük İnsan went viral online, and from there built a solid live reputation in the clubs and small venues of the city. Türkmen makes melodic Turkish pop that flows smoothly between ballads, soft rock, and, on occasion, a hint of funk-rock. In his songs you often hear an acoustic approach, with a lot of attention to the lyrics and vocal lines. During this show he will present a set that combines his best-known tracks with material from his recent releases, with that recognizable mix of emotion and rhythm that has defined his catalog for years.
