Pink Floyd performed by Echoes

'We don't need no education... we don't need no thought control.' Who hasn't got it stuck in their heads— Pink Floyd delivered the sound for an entire era of upheaval with The Wall, securing their place in rock history. Since the far-too-early death of Pink Floyd's keyboardist Richard Wright in 2008, it is, however, finally clear that Pink Floyd will sadly never again be seen in their original lineup.

echoes, the Pink Floyd tribute band fronted by guitarist and singer Dennis Hormes, carries the band's legacy forward. With great respect for Pink Floyd's work, echoes has performed over 400 concerts across Europe in recent years, including festivals with Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Manfred Mann, Asia, The Hooters, Ten Years After, The Sweet and many others.

The band takes its audience on an emotional journey to the Dark Side of the Moon, from Ummagumma through Meddle, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, to the post-Waters era. In addition to a comprehensive Best of Pink Floyd, they also perform works that have almost slipped into oblivion. Echoes demonstrate with relish, attention to detail, and a powerful sound that the complex Pink Floyd epics remain fascinating and relevant today.

Echoes will present on the Seebühne Bremen on 29 July 2027 a program tailored specifically for them, designed to delight both eyes and ears, which, in addition to an authentic sound, also does justice to the visual aspect of Pink Floyd's concerts. The elaborate production, with intelligent lighting, computer-controlled video projections and elements of Pink Floyd's original shows, is supported by an appropriate sound system.
