On December 1, 2026, Nemzzz checks in at The Academy in Dublin. Born in Manchester in 2004 and raised in Gorton, Nemiah Emmanuel Simms is part of this new UK wave that values precision over flash: concise writing, a detached flow, straddling British hip-hop, melodic drill, and lighter, more ethereal touches. His love of music also comes from home, with a family already involved in production and reggae/dancehall.
Discovered as early as 2021 with "Elevate," then in 2022 with "2MS," he went on to release tracks that have circulated on grime and rap radars, before finalizing a clearer sound on the Nemzzz Type Beat EP (2023): soft productions, minimalist hooks, and a restrained nonchalance. Collaborations followed (Knucks, K-Trap, Headie One, Lil Yachty...), and his first mixtape Do Not Disturb (2024) established an effective format, consisting of tight tracks and cold melodies. With Rent’s Due (2025), Nemzzz further refines: more structured, still as direct, and designed for live performance.
