sunflwr comes to RUST in Copenhagen on October 27, 2026, with its melodic, warm electronic sound, where groove and vividly colored moods go hand in hand. The project has been shaped by both studio work and DJ sets, and the music sits in a space between lo-fi textures, moderate tempos, and a clear sense for basslines and production details. One can hear threads of pop and downtempo in the soft synth layers and the somewhat hip-hop-tinged nuances, but it’s all still made with the club in mind.
DJ Poolboi, aka Adam Ansley from Austin, performs the same evening and brings his introspective, melodic house to Nørrebro. He is known for a dreamy, nostalgic approach with sweeping drums, hazy pads, and a steady forward momentum that works both on the dance floor and as headphone music. After his breakthrough online, he has broadened his range toward more singable and indie-pop-tinged sides, without letting go of the sensitive, hazy club mood that characterizes his releases.
