If a voice can hold together French chanson, electro, and a few rap-inflected cues, it is certainly Camille Yembe’s. A writer, composer and performer from the Belgian pop scene, she writes in French lyrics that stay close to what remains when everything moves: the passing of time, forgetfulness, love, and loneliness. Her music never fits into a single box: she prefers to let the tracks circulate and to play with the flexibility of the arrangements and with movement, from a clear melody to more physical pulsations.
On the Jeune & Laide Tour, she translates this aesthetic to the stage by alternating stripped-down formats on piano or guitar with more rhythmic versions, conceived for dance and collective momentum. Join us on October 9, 2026 at Noumatrouff in Mulhouse for a concert where the intimate is spoken plainly, carried by direct writing and a presence that leaves room for the songs.
