On 19 January 2027, Alestorm bring their pirate-metal chaos to O2 City Hall Newcastle. Born in Perth, Scotland, the band has built its own corner of the metal world: fast power-metal riffs, folk touches, big synth lines and choruses that feel made for shouting with a drink in hand. Across albums like Captain Morgan’s Revenge, No Grave but the Sea or Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, they’ve stuck to that salty mix of sea battles, treasure hunts and tongue-in-cheek storytelling, with hooks that land hard and keep moving.
