On October 16, 2026, Chris Stussy will make his first appearance on the Main Floor at Bootshaus in Cologne. The Dutch DJ and producer has long been known for house that doesn’t rely on big effects, but on groove, tension and details: warm, flexible basslines, minimalist percussion, and these fine, almost unobtrusive melodies that gradually take hold. His sets unfold fluidly, with long transitions and a clear focus on the dancefloor, without becoming frantic.
As a producer, Stussy has established himself with a sound that swings between deep house, minimal, and a sober, club-ready tech-house edge. With his own label Up The Stuss, he not only bundles his most important releases but also shows where he comes from musically: classic house influences, thought of in a modern way, always with plenty of room for rhythm. In Cologne, this is likely to be exactly the kind of night where you more easily fall into the flow than wait for the drop.
