On October 4, 2026, Dusky will perform at Newspeak in Montreal. Behind this name lie Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman, a London-based duo active since 2011, who first operated under the Solarity alias before carving their path through deep house, house, techno and breakbeat. Their strength lies in a club-oriented approach that remains open to broader listening, with crisp grooves, darker textures when needed, and a melodic sense that hooks without overdoing it.
Revealed with Stick by This on Anjunadeep, they subsequently released EPs and tracks on various labels before launching 17 Steps, their own imprint, which has become a true playground for their productions. In recent years, the albums Outer, Joy and Pressure have confirmed their taste for long-form formats and energy variations. In a DJ set, Dusky moves effortlessly from taut house to more percussive detours, building a night that unfolds in waves rather than through effects. The supporting act will be announced soon.
