At the forefront of the contemporary scene, the Italian percussionist Valentina Magaletti and the Dutch electronic musician upsammy bring Seismo to life in a live setting, their first collaborative album, crystallizing their two universes. Engaged in multiple projects, solo or in collaboration (notably within the group Vanishing Twin), Valentina Magaletti cultivates a plural rhythmic practice that is boldly adventurous and collaborative. A proponent of electronic music free from dogma, upsammy expresses a singular creativity in her DJ sets as well as in her productions and live performances. These two musicians have joined forces to record an album, Seismo, released by the Berlin label PAN. Blending acoustic and electronic, the result, of high precision, invites listeners to explore dense and stirring soundscapes with innovative rhythms.
