Habibisly is an artist of heart and instinct. Nourished by the Middle Eastern influences that gave birth to him, his music grew in the Parisian basements of the 18th arrondissement to become a singular style. He enjoys blending worlds and energies: talkbox, feverish synths, captivating vocals, powerful electronic pulses, nocturnal frenzies and oriental languors.
A child of hip-hop and DIY culture, Aziz Konkrite draws inspiration from 45s that he hunts down and archives during his motorcycle journeys across Morocco, amassed in his home studio over the years. The result: a journey into the musical traditions of chaâbi, aïta, raggada, amarg, gnawa, with futuristic airs, reinvented and tailored for the dancefloors.
