Revealed in the early 2020s, piri (Sophie Leigh McBurnie) bridges ultra-melodic pop with the British rave heritage. Her music moves fast, propelled by a soft voice and productions that draw from drum and bass, UK garage and breakbeats, with that knack for a short-form format that sticks in the mind. Initially launched as a solo artist, she later made an impression with the project piri & Tommy, before pursuing a more personal path, still connected to the UK's pop and dance scenes.
On stage, expect a set where clear choruses and tense rhythms cross paths without forcing it, between club energy and direct songwriting, nourished by a distinctly internet aesthetic.
