Formed in the mid-2000s in the Catskills (northern New York State), The Felice Brothers carry in their songs a taste for bruised stories and melodies that smell of the road. Led by brothers Ian and James Felice, the band first drew attention by playing in the Manhattan subway before establishing a deliberately rugged roots sound, between folk-rock, country and Americana, with keyboards and accordions that add grain to the storytelling. Over the course of their albums—from Tonight at the Arizona to Life in the Dark, then Undress and From Dreams to Dust—they broaden their palette without losing that artisanal, almost live, feel where the writing counts as much as the energy. On February 11, 2027, they will perform at Gorilla in Manchester for a concert billed with a supporting act.
