Chuck Strangers, a Brooklyn-based producer-rapper who came through Pro Era's circle, heads to Headrow House (Leeds) on 24 November 2026 for a live show that navigates between New York classicism and introspection. Long known for his understated and efficient productions, particularly in the early 2010s, he has built, on his own, a writing approach that is at once calm and precise, laid over discreet soulful and jazzy loops, without overacting.
From Consumers Park to his more recent EPs, Chuck Strangers refines a rap of daily life, attentive to detail, with a sense of storytelling that unfolds at a measured pace. His album A Forsaken Lover’s Plea extends this hushed vein, between melancholic textures and lucid observation. On stage, one can expect a tight set, centered on the voice, the groove, and this very personal way of building tension without forcing it.
