Bonobo, aka Simon Green, returns behind the decks for a DJ set conceived as a launch party around his new album Distance In Static. A British producer and DJ with a precise writing style, he has long navigated between downtempo, trip hop, nu jazz and club-ready electronics, with that supple groove and warm textures that are his signature.
This show foregrounds his DJ persona: a mix built to sustain the tension, moving from cinematic atmospheres to more direct rhythms, and a reminder of how Bonobo can fuse attentive listening with the energy of the dance floor. Join us on September 11, 2026 at Patterns in Brighton, to celebrate this new release up close to what he does best: tell a story, track by track.
