Spike Fuck is an artist from Melbourne, an elusive and radical figure on the Australian indie scene. Revealed at the end of the 2010s with The Smackwave EP, he immediately establishes a singular aesthetic where dark synth-pop, disenchanted post-punk, and raw lyricism intersect. His writing fearlessly tackles addiction, gender, love, and downfall, with a frankness rare in contemporary music.
On stage, Spike Fuck takes the stage with a simple backing track and a vocal intensity that is at once fragile and sharp. After a long disappearance marked by rumors and a voluntary retreat, he returns with a new musical direction more embodied, supported by a live band. His new compositions broaden the spectrum: 70s glam influences, wounded soul, battered rock, but always this tension between chaos and clarity. Spike Fuck continues a quest for raw authenticity through a body of work in perpetual mutation.
