Sam Smith returns to the stage on September 11, 2026 at the London Coliseum in London, for a concert that places the voice at the center. Emerging at the start of the 2010s, the artist has built a path at the crossroads of pop, soul and contemporary R&B, with that gift for melodies that cling and ballads that rise in tension without overdoing it.
Since the early breakthroughs in featuring, from “Latch” with Disclosure to “La La La” with Naughty Boy, Sam Smith has unfolded a trajectory where intimate writing meets arrangements that are sometimes spare, sometimes more orchestral, sometimes crafted for the club. Albums such as In the Lonely Hour, The Thrill of It All, Love Goes and Gloria sketch this wide-ranging balance between breakup songs and danceable pop, carried by a supple and expressive performance. With “Writing's on the Wall” (Spectre) as a touchstone, this live show is set to be a survey of these facets, with additional support.
