On October 16, 2026, at Espace Étincelle in Bergerac, Lynda Lemay comes to present À fleur de cordes, a project born from a close dialogue between her voice, her writing, and two guitars that answer each other relentlessly. On stage, her lyric-driven songs regain what makes them strong: precise storytelling, restrained emotion, and that very direct way of establishing characters and situations in just a few lines.
For this face-off, she surrounds herself with Jean-Félix Lalanne, a virtuoso guitarist whose playing highlights the nuances of his repertoire. Together, they revisit old and more recent titles, always guided by Lemay’s art of storytelling, balancing understated humor, everyday details, and more intimate moments. The concert unfolds as a musical conversation, where the acoustics take center stage and where the guitar becomes a second vocal line. At the close, a Lalanne-penned song shifts the perspective, for the duration of a track that he performs solo.
