Yael Naim returns to the stage on April 29, 2027 at the Centre for the Arts in Enghien-les-Bains, with her distinctive way of blending pop, folk and songwriting that is full of feeling. Discovered by a wide audience in 2007 with 'New Soul', she has established an intimate writing style, carried by a supple and direct voice, capable of moving from almost naked simplicity to more finely crafted arrangements.
Born and raised in Israel, Yael Naim began composing and playing guitar at a very early age, before pursuing a multitude of projects and concerts. Her meeting with percussionist David Donatien marks a turning point: a long-running collaboration that refines her sound and her approach to producing, between discreet grooves, organic textures and melodies that linger. In live performances, she explores this repertoire with particular attention to nuance, the rhythm of the words and emotion, without overdoing it.
