Born in Casablanca in 1996, ElGrandeToto (Taha Fahssi) arrives in London for a concert on 23 November 2026 at KOKO. Having started with krump before switching to rap in the mid-2010s, he quickly established himself on the Moroccan scene from 2017 with "Pablo," then solidified his universe with the EP Illicit.
His strength lies in writing that naturally moves between Darija (Moroccan Arabic), French, English, and sometimes Spanish, driven by a highly physical sense of rhythm and flows that continually shift. Trap, drill, grime, afropop, touches of afrobeat: Toto draws from, stitches together, and plays with the contrasts between upfront tracks and more personal moments.
After Caméléon (2021), where he clearly broadens his palette, 27 (2023) moves the needle toward something more intimate. SALGOAT (2024) confirms his taste for hybrid formats and tonal shifts, while maintaining a clear anchor in Casablanca and the codes of today’s Moroccan rap. On stage, this blend of languages, influences and energy takes on another dimension.
