Tangerine Dream returns to Poland with the Level Tour 2027, and on 16 May 2027 they will perform in Poznań, at Sala Ziemi. The legendary Berlin-based group, founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese, has for decades kept its finger on the pulse of instrumental electronic music: hypnotic sequences, ambient textures, cosmic tension, and room for improvisation, which live can stretch pieces into completely new shapes. At this concert you can expect a survey of the classics that shaped the so-called Berlin School (with the immortal shadow of Phaedra), but also newer compositions developing the direction 'The Quantum Years'. Since Froese's death, the band continues his vision with Thorsten Quaeschning as musical director, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick, combining the analog pulse with the precision of contemporary production. Tangerine Dream is also an important chapter in film music and video games, and their concerts are usually closed by an extended live session created in real time.
