On March 26, 2027, Bénabar checks into the Palais des Congrès – Gérard Gastinel, in Digne-les-Bains, with a tour centered on his eleventh album, Le soleil des absents, released in January 2026. A writer, composer and performer, he continues to do what he does best: tell our everyday lives with writing that is precise, mischievous, often tender, and always attentive to the details that hit home.
On stage, the idea is simple: to blend the new songs with a repertoire built over more than twenty-five years, between chronicles of daily life, discreet humor, and emotions that are never overstated. Bénabar unfolds his stories like scenes, with that sense of rhythm and storytelling that sticks to him, and that knack for drawing the audience in with just a few phrases. A concert conceived as a reunion, where unreleased tracks rub shoulders with the songs we already know by heart.
