On January 16, 2027, at Espace La Maillette in Locminé, Mentissa will perform Enfants Difficiles, her second album, on stage and open a new chapter, more direct and more assured. Here, she drops the detours: the words speak of childhood, family, identity, anger, the need for control, and the love we sometimes cling to as a refuge. A first-person writing, conceived as a way to unburden herself, without masking contradictions.
After a first tour that has clearly changed the way she writes, Mentissa also offers more rhythmically driven tracks, designed to breathe on stage, to forge a connection, and to move from raw energy to tighter moments. Anglo-Saxon influences surface even more, from Adele to Gracie Abrams, including Olivia Rodrigo, with a few phrases in English, but the heart remains the same: a voice that can carry everything, at once powerful and fragile, and pop that moves as close as possible to the lyrics.
