Project led by the Belgian musician Joachim Liebens, The Haunted Youth lands in Manchester on December 3, 2026 at the YES with its dream-pop tinged with psychedelia, sitting between discreet shoegaze and melodic indie rock. Revealed in the early 2020s by a string of singles including Teen Rebel, the band quickly carved out a place on the indie scene before racking up dates across Europe.
With Dawn of the Freak (2022), The Haunted Youth crafts a universe of heavily reverberated guitars, enveloping keyboards, and a melancholic voice that revolves around adolescence, doubts and imaginary escapes. On stage, the project takes on its full dimension in a complete lineup: the songs gain impact without losing their hazy textures and that nocturnal edge that clings to the skin. A concert designed for those who love direct songs, but charged with a soft and persistent tension.
