Westside Cowboy heads to Rough Trade Liverpool on August 27, 2026 for an in-store live performance marking the release of their new album It Goes On (Island). The British four-piece formed around Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy has carved out a niche with a sound they call 'Britainicana': a taut blend of country, indie rock and art rock, driven by edgy guitars, catchy choruses and a deliberately unpolished energy.
After the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey, the band continues to affirm a collective sound, more upfront than nostalgic, that plays with conventions without trying to reconstruct them. On stage, that’s where it tightens: an ensemble performance that grips, songs that rise quickly in intensity, and this way of staying both melodic and abrasive.
